Lucas Dahl

Lucas Dahl is the Founder & CEO of Rets AI. He started investing in real estate at 18 and quickly hit the limit that defines the industry: everything worth knowing about a property sits locked inside its documents, and the only way to get it out was to read them by hand. So he automated the work himself, building an underwriting system that took him from a few deals a day to hundreds.

That experience became the thesis behind Rets AI. In real estate, the document is the truth, and most firms never fully see their own. Lucas studied Economics and Information Systems at San Diego State University before leaving to build Rets AI full-time, a platform that turns lease documents into data a firm can put to work. The company is backed by early investors at a $21.5M post-money valuation cap.

His aim is simple: give every firm complete command of its own information, so its people spend their days on judgment instead of paperwork and nothing that matters stays hidden. He is building Rets to put that within reach of the entire industry. Lucas is 22 and based in Austin, Texas.
